Terms & conditions for Wynbury Stables

 

1.  Riding and safety - clothing and equipment

1.1  All riders must wear a riding hat conforming to BSI standards at all times whilst mounted.

1.2  Suitable footwear must be worn when mounted (small heel and flat sole).

1.3  Care of each riders’ personal equipment is the sole responsibility of the rider.

 

2.  Use of Wynbury arenas and facilities

2.1   Bookings must be paid for at the time of booking.  No refunds will be given but we will happily re-arrange a booking when given a minimum of 24 hours notice.

2.2  Other people may be using the facilities at the same time, riders and the people accompanying them must not cause a nuisance or disturbance.

2.3  After using the facilities all equipment used is to be returned to its original position, droppings removed from the arenas and any breakages or damage reported.

2.4  By using the facilities, riders, trainers or person responsible accepts they have surveyed the facilities and the ground conditions and understand that they are responsible for assessing suitability.

 

 

3.  Wynbury Stables yard rules

3.1  Please note Wynbury Stables has a no dogs policy.

3.2  No glass or breakables to be taken onto any of the facilities, all rubbish to be placed into rubbish bins provided or taken home, all droppings are to be removed from the parking area.

3.3  No smoking on the yard.

3.4  Wynbury Stables will not accept any responsibility for any minors left unsupervised.

3.5  Any accidents are to be reported to the office and be recorded in the accident book.

3.6  By booking the facilities this means that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions.

3.7  Wynbury Stables staff reserve the right to ask any person to leave the premises if they feel that their behaviour endangers the health and safety of others or affects equine welfare.

 

4.  Insurance requirements

4.1  Trainers, coaches, teachers or any person responsible for a rider must hold public liability insurance.

4.2  Any employer bringing staff to the premises must hold employer’s liability insurance.

4.3  Wynbury Stables recommends that horses using the facilities are insured for third party liability, injury and vet fees

4.4  Wynbury Stables strongly recommends riders hold personal accident cover.

 

Wynbury Stables does not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury or illness to riders, horses, owners, spectators, property, vehicles and their contents whatsoever. Riding, working and handling horses can be dangerous and horses can be unpredictable. Persons using our facilities do so at their own risk.
